At Craft Hosue Salon,  pricing is based on an all-inclusive hourly rate, which varies per artist. This allows full transparency during your appointment by including all services needed to achieve your desired look.

We suggest reading through our session descriptions to see what aligns best with your goals.

What to Expect Your First Time at Craft House Salon

First dates can be intimidating, so we wanted to share some deets...

Craft House Salon is a by-appointment-only hair salon at 87 First Ave, Atlantic Highlands, NJ. It is in the historic district of town and conveniently located close to the Seastreak ferry. 

 

Before Your Visit

We are so excited to have you in our salon! You will receive text/e-mail reminders once your appointment is booked, 72 and 24 hours before your appointment, and a 30-minute reminder. 

 

You may also receive a text from your Artist for a pre-visit virtual consultation. We do this to air out some goals, adjust timing when and if needed, and simply say hi!

 

Free Parking and a Warm Greeting

You can park on the street (it's free) or in the municipal lot behind the salon(suggested for color appointments over 2 hours). Our space is an inclusive, welcoming, clean, and relaxing environment for you to destress in.  Upon arrival, you can expect a warm greeting from one of our team members, and you will then be seated to meet your Artist. 

 

The Consultation

A thorough consultation at your hair appointment is a crucial step in ensuring that your desired hairstyle, color, or treatment aligns with your expectations and suits your individual preferences. This is the most crucial step in your journey to loving your hair. It is an opportunity for you to communicate your goals and for us to provide professional advice based on our expertise. We will discuss your likes and dislikes,  current struggles with your hair,  budget, maintenance preference, and possible product recommendations. 

 

We'll collaborate on a custom plan that includes your haircut, color formula, treatments, and/or extension placement. We can put together a game plan not just for our first date but well into our one-year anniversary. No worries; everything gets recorded digitally, so you'll always have consistent results.

 

The Session

Sit back and enjoy a snack, seltzer, seasonal tea, latte, or wine—all complimentary. 

The time is yours if you want to chat; we're all in! If you prefer to make a quiet appointment, we get it! Grab a pair of earplugs upon entry; there is no need to say more. 

Do you need to work while you're here? Just bring your laptop. We'll supply the Wi-Fi and laptop desk, and we always have extra chargers. 

 

Regardless of your session goals, we never miss an opportunity to enhance your hair. Every session receives a complimentary custom treatment to address your hair's needs.  

 

Our shampoo scalp massages are incredible, but please feel comfortable opting out if you dislike the scalp massage or find it overstimulating. 

 

We will explain how to style, care for, and maintain your new look. We'll also chat about products and tools and when we can meet again.

Then, you can show off your killer new look to the world—be sure to tag us in your selfies!

Good Bye...For Now

We end our time together with a suggested return for your next session and some great products to keep your hair fresh.

 

We accept all major credit cards, check, and cash for payment. 

Gratuity is never expected but is always appreciated and accepted in cash or through Venmo. 

 

 

Like after every great date finishes... we still haven't stopped thinking about you. If you underwent a huge transformation, don't be surprised to see us checking in your notification. You'll have 7 days to play with your look and decide if any adjustments need to be made. (please read house rules)

Booking Suggestions 

We recommend pre-booking your appointments or booking at least two weeks in advance to avoid disappointment. We recommend booking for anyone restricted to evening and weekend-only appointments four weeks in advance. This is to ensure that you get the time you require. Does this not work for you? Let us know; we love feedback.

 

Cancellation Guidelines

All appointments require a 48-hour cancellation notice, or you will be charged 50% for the session.

No-Show Guidelines 

No show? It happens, and we still like you, but you are responsible for that time.

All no-shows will be charged the total amount for their appointments. If your payment cannot be processed, you must pay in full for future appointments. 

 

Late Guidelines:

We allow a fifteen-minute grace period. We will do our very best to provide you with the session, but if your lateness affects the person after you, we may need to reschedule, resulting in a charge of 50% of your appointment. 

 

Online Booking:

All sessions require a credit card on file for booking.

*Please note that online booking requires a 50% deposit applied to your final pricing. The prepayment of your reservation will remain as a credit toward your next session, valid for one calendar year. Online booking is NOT eligible for a refund. Thank you!
