Craft House

Craft House Salon opened its doors in the spring of 2018, intending to be an upbeat and relaxing multi-use space.
Craft: /noun/ an activity involving skill in making things by hand.
House: /noun/ a building for human habitation, especially one that is lived in by a family or small group of people.

Our Mission at Craft House Salon is to provide an individualized experience cultivated through education, passion, and respect for the environment.
​
Sustainability is a regular practice at Craft House Salon. We work exclusively with Davines products, a B-certified 100% sustainable company based out of Parma Italy. Davines is owned and operated by fellow hairstylists, making it the best product for in-salon and at-home styling. As well as Cult & King an organic, 1% for the planet company specializing in hair care for wash and wear lifestyles.

Aside from products, we are a Green Circle Salon, with a recycling program for all of our salon’s waste, from foils to extra color. We strive to be as paperless as possible, and using treeless or recycled papers when going paperless isn’t an option—including our toilet paper.

Craft House Salon is a gender-neutral and hourly-based salon. We believe that services should be based on time, education, and level of experience of our artists. We believe in transparent pricing and offer one-on-one sessions of time with our artists to meet your individual hair goals. We are proud partners with The Dresscode Project and Strands for Trans, providing a safer space experience for our community as a whole.

As creative individuals, we are fueled by inspiration. Our salon doubles as a gallery space, with a rotation of artists who use our home to display their collections. We welcome you to attend the opening receptions to help us celebrate the arts.
Connecting with the community and supporting others is important to the Craft House crew. We use our home to host other vendors that support our mission of good vibes and sustainability. Additionally, you will find us partnered with various community-based and charitable events.

Craft House Salon would not be possible without the cornerstone of education. We believe education is the key to remaining inspired and keeps us on top of our game. All employees complete an in-house training program before earning a spot on the salon floor. Our senior staff regularly attend outside education and push creative boundaries, curating photoshoots for editorial work and passion project collections.
